The Staff at Cotswold Teak, (BMH Imports Ltd) & www.Cotswoldteak.com are completely dedicated to providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction and product quality. None of our terms of trading affects your statutory rights as a consumer
We will process your order as quickly and efficiently as possible, however, delivery times vary between product types. If any item is not available, you will be contacted with the option to cancel or change your order. We can then advise a date when all items are ready for dispatch.
How to order There are 4 ways to order from Cotswold Teak Garden Furniture (BMH IMPORTS Ltd). Online, in person, by email & via the phone.
Order on-line via this web site. Fill in the information required in the boxes, making sure your delivery address and invoice address are correctly completed with contact telephone number/s (plus a mobile of most likely person to receive delivery on the day) and your Credit card payment details so this can be processed in a secure method. We will reply confirming your purchase and give a delivery date, via the phone and take note of any special instructions. You must inform us of any restrictions which can hamper the delivery or the need for 2 people to be present. Orders only to mainland UK any placed to Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or Northern Ireland or any other out reach property would understandably incur an additional expense to be discussed before completion or commitment to supply. Send us an email detailing what you require – we will require the same details that are on the ‘on-line order form’. We will then call or e-mail you with the cost of the purchase and take your credit card details to process the order either via email or phone.
Make a telephone call to the number above and one of our Sales Representatives will answer any queries or take your order, should you not wish to use online ordering.
Visit our show room, where we have most of the products on display, and purchase your items directly. It may help to telephone first to ensure viewing of any particular items you are interested.
On-Line payments are taken via Sagepay (Credit card transaction dept of Protx). The company accepting the payment is Protx and that is what will appear on your statement.
*All products remain the property of Cotswold Teak (BMH Imports Ltd) until payment has cleared.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
You can cancel your order up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive your goods (with the exception of any made to order items).
To cancel your order you must inform us in writing giving your name, address, telephone number, email address and details of your order. You can notify us in writing at the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org, tel: 01608 682 191.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication advising that you wish to exercise your right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. Please note though you might have to provide proof of despatch if you post the item such that the cancellation notice is delivered to us after the expiration of the cancellation period.
You cannot cancel your order if the goods are bespoke (ie made to order) or personalised in any way.
You cannot cancel your order if the goods have become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery. For instance if you treat the goods with Teak Oil or a Teak Care product the timber and the teak care product will have become inseparably mixed. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods and you will not be able to cancel the order.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel your order, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us). You must bear the cost of returning the goods via a courier or we can arrange to collect larger goods at the rates specified below.
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. You are permitted to inspect the goods but are not allowed to use them. You must return the goods in the original packaging they were delivered in. There may be a deduction if the goods are not returned in the same condition that they were in when they were delivered. To mitigate this we suggest, for pre-assembled items, you store them in a garage or cover them until they are collected.
We will make the reimbursement not later than:
14 calendar days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied or (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction. We will withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest.
Costs of Return
You will have to bear the cost of returning the goods. You should return smaller items, value up to approximately £100, via Royal Mail or courier and this will cost £10 - £20 to return. Please make sure you insure the goods and retain proof of despatch which might be required by us in order to process a refund.
For larger items, in mainland England and Wales, we can arrange to collect the items from the delivery address. The costs will be:
£45 For order values £50 - £199.99
£90 For order values £200 - £399.99
£200 For order values Over £400.00
You can opt to return the items yourself, but please phone to say when you will be planning to arrive.
There will be an extra charge for collection from Scotland of £100. In the event that delivery was to an agent/ freight forwarder collection will only be from the point of delivery not the onward customer address.
For items that have been taken offshore they must be returned to the original mainland delivery address and this cost will be borne by the buyer.
We will endeavour to collect the goods within 14 days of receipt of your notice to cancel the order. We will notify you of the collection date and you should ensure the items are available for collection on that date. Failure to have the goods available as arranged will delay any refund.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right not to process your order if:
We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
We do not deliver to your area; or
One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do not process your order for the above reasons, we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit/debit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 14 days.
We guarantee our products for a period of one year from the date of delivery. We warrant that our products are fit for their intended purpose and are free from manufacturer faults or defects. "Defects", as used in this warranty, are defined as imperfections in material or workmanship that will impair the use of the furniture or product. This does not include cracks or end grain checking which are natural occurrences and do not affect the strength or integrity of your furniture.
Under this warranty, we are unable to exchange goods that have been treated, painted or modified in any way.
Please be advised that our product guarantee does not cover items shipped overseas.
We do not gaurantee any furniture which is sold as seen or bought through the clearance site that has been already been used or weathered.
Cotswold Teak (BMH Imports Ltd) reserves the right to withdraw any Products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials, content or prices on this Website.
Cotswold Teak may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.
Cotswold Teak will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any Product from this Website whether or not that Product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the Website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction.
To be eligible to purchase Products on this Website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this Website under English law you must:
• Register by providing your real name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other requested information
• Be over 18 years of age
• Stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom. Please note that PO Box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable
• Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us
By making an offer to buy a Product, you specifically authorise BMH IMPORTS Ltd to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
Copyright You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the Website shall remain at all times vested in COTSWOLD TEAK (BMH IMPORTS Ltd) or our licensor's. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by our licensor's or us. This includes all images within this site also copyrighted by us and the professional photographer.
You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within the Website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may (if necessary to make a Purchase) download such material and content onto only one computer hard drive for such purpose. Any other use of the material and content of the Website is strictly prohibited. You agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.
Limitations on Liability BMH IMPORTS Ltd has made all reasonable efforts to ensure that all information provided through BMH IMPORTS Ltd web site on the Internet is accurate at the time of inclusion, however we make no warranties, whether express or implied as to its accuracy.
Waiver No waiver by us shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.
Survival Each provision of the Conditions shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances.
Entire agreement These Conditions govern our relationship with you. Any changes to these Conditions must be in writing and signed by both parties. In this way, we can avoid any problems surrounding what BMH IMPORTS Ltd and you are expected to do. You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the Conditions, you have not relied on any representation save insofar as the same has expressly been made a term of these Conditions and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any representation.
Your Statutory Rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.
Nothing in this Clause shall limit or exclude our liability in respect of any fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the Conditions.
Please note that BMH IMPORTS Ltd do not hold themselves out to be responsible for the content of this website. Only once an order has been accepted and confirmed as such will they be responsible for the content and details of it

Our Customer service representatives are available between 9:00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. (GMT) Monday to Friday.
All complaints will be acknowledged within 2 working days and will be resolved as soon as practicable. We will always keep you informed throughout the process of resolving your complaint and we will keep the details of your complaint confidential.

Law The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
