The Teak Protector maintains the honey brown colour of Teak for longer, it is not oily or greasy, so clothes stay clean.It is completely water-based; solvent-free, thats why we call it 'EcoSafe'. Not sure how to treat your Teak? Teak is one of the most durable and attractive hardwoods used for garden furniture. Regular treatment is not essential. Over time, your Teak will weather from a golden honey colour to a light silver patina. If you would like to preserve the light honey colour, we would recommend using Golden Care products to clean and treat your teak furniture.

As part of the weathering process, cracks and splits will appear on your furniture, particularly on the end grain and to a lesser extent on the surface within a few weeks. Don’t be alarmed when you see this; this is normal behaviour with close-grain hardwoods. If you would like to prevent this happening, we recommend using Teak Oil, or our Teak Care Kit.
